J Series

AMI Commercial RO Systems for Water Filtration

Designed to produce low dissolved solids water from tap or well water, these high quality commercial RO systems use highly efficient RO Membranes. The RO product water is used in commercial and light industrial applications such as rinse water, pharmaceutical, food processing, bottled water, hotels, beverage, hospitals, and a wide variety of other applications.

Series J Reverse Osmosis Water Filtration Systems use 4”×40” RO membrane elements. RO Membrane Housing Pressure vessels contain one or two reverse osmosis membrane elements each and are mounted in a horizontal position.

RO Systems are shipped ready for immediate on-line service. The high quality, innovative design of AMI's J-Series RO Systems has given these systems the reputation as the most reliable and cost effective solution for tap or well water purification.

Notes and Voltage/ Ordering Information

  • All dimensions and weights are approximate.
  • RO System Capacity Basis: 24 hrs/day.
  • RO Systems rated at: 77°F (25°C) using 2000 ppm sodium chloride solution operating at approx. 225-250 psi pressure.
  • Minimum feed pressure to RO System: 40-60 PSI.
  • RO System capacity changes significantly with water temperature.
  • For higher TDS a water analysis must be supplied and could result in modifications to the RO system design.
  • Chlorine must be removed with a carbon filter or with chemical injection prior to the RO system, if present in feed water.
  • Pretreatment for water hardness using a softener or antiscalant injection should be added to avoid scaling the RO membranes.
  • Feed water turbidity: Less than 1 NTU; Feed water silt density index (SDI): 3 maximum. If exceeded, pretreatment with media filter recommended. All pretreatment equipment and SDI test kits are available from Applied Membranes.

Please add our voltage codes to the end of the model number when ordering:
Example: J-84B-236 = 220/230v/3 ph/60 Hz

Voltage Codes:

(Single Phase Not Available)

  • 236= 220 or 230v/ 3ph/ 60hz
